Every vibrant and dynamic community has active groups, and Ladera Heights is no exception. These groups are comprised of Ladera residents who run regular non-profit gatherings related to a topic of interest. We encourage all residents to get involved by either joining a group or starting one themselves. If you would like the opportunity to list your group here, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have young children and would like to attend seasonal community events hosted in our local park while meeting with other local families, then this is a fun group for children and parents alike.

Morning walks around Ladera Heights are fun and good for you. That's why Ladera Heights' Ray and Carla Lowe started this morning walking group which meets most every Saturday morning at 8am in front of Frank D. Parent K-8 in Lower Ladera (64th and Corning). No need to sign-up. All residents are welcome.
Ladera Heights is full of diverse new families with young children. This private group connects mothers in our neighborhood. Whether you stay at home with your tots or work outside of the home, we should connect our children for play dates and create "kid free" events. Check in for suggested play dates, weekend stroller strides, and to post baby items for sale or to swap. Feel free to share local kid friendly events, information about awesome sitters/nannies etc. Motherhood is an adventure, let's enjoy it together and support each other! Find this group on facebook.
