COVID-19 Testing in Fox Hills Next Week

If you would like to get tested for the COVID-19 virus, registration is now available online. The testing requires insurance and will take place at the Westfield Culver City mall in Fox Hills and appointments are available beginning Monday, April 27th.

The website states that you must register in advance to be allowed into the queue. You can expect to stay in your car, show your ID through your window glass, then receive a small testing kit to self-administer a swab around the inside of your mouth, then return the testing kit to the team for analysis. It will take about five days to get your results–if you're negative, you will get an email, if you're positive, you will receive a phone call.

It's very important to get tested, especially if you're in a high-risk group, or feeling symptoms. At the time of posting this, we have 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ladera Heights with an infection rate of 226 which is relatively high compared to the average countywide infection rate of 144. Nearby, Crenshaw and West Adams even higher rates than Ladera Heights.

If you have any questions about next week's testing, you may contact Mend Urgent Care at (818) 646-2562 or drivethru@mendurgentcare.com.
