Special Senior Shopping Hours
To ensure all of our neighbors’ needs are met during the pandemic, most major grocery chains have set aside special store hours for senior citizens, and other at-risk members of our community such as pregnant women or those with compromised immune systems.
This is not an all-inclusive list but some participating chains in our neighboring communities include:
Ralph’s (every day 7a to 8a)
Pavillion’s (every day 7a to 8a)
Smart N Final (every day 7:30a to 8:30a)
Albertson’s (Tues and Thurs 7a to 9a)
Costco (Tues and Thurs 8a to 9a)
Target (every day 8a to 9a)
Whole Foods (seniors get priority, but no dedicated hours)
Sprouts (seniors get priority, but no dedicated hours)
Trader Joe’s (seniors get priority, but no dedicated hours)
During this challenging and unprecedented time, the special hours frequently change. If in doubt about the hours or who is included, call ahead or check online for up-to-date information. Some markets are also providing free delivery with online shopping but be sure to check their websites for detailed requirements.
