I have a neighbor who very kindly brings my trashcans in from the street as soon as she sees them empty. I know of a handful of Laderians who volunteer weekends to pick up trash on the surrounding streets. There's a kind neighbor who has worked for many years to help find and rehome lost pets. I bet you have a story, too.
We're going to start the year off on the right foot with a Neighbor of the Month and would like to ask YOU for nominations. Each month, beginning in January, we'll spotlight one special person who has gone above and beyond to help out a neighbor. It could be picking up something at the store, a friendly call to check-in, lending a hand to move furniture and anything in between.
