IN MARCH 2023, THERE WERE THREE RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES WHERE THE SUSPECTS
TARGETED ELDERLY PEOPLE IN THE PALMS & WESTCHESTER AREA.
ONE SUSPECT POSED AS A UTILITY WORKER OR CONSTRUCTION WORKER “LOOKING AT HOUSES IN THE AREA FOR WATER LEAKS.” WHILE THE SUSPECT IS DISTRACTING THE ELDERLY FEMALE VICTIM, A SECOND SUSPECT ENTERED THE RESIDENCE AND TOOK CASH AND JEWELRY.
THE SUSPECTS ARE DESCRIBED AS HISPANIC MALES APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS OLD
AND BALD. ONE IS APPROXIMATELY 5’06 AND WEIGHS 200 POUNDS. HE POSSIBLY
WORE AN ORANGE SCARF, NEON YELLOW SHIRT, OR A REFLECTIVE VEST. A BLACK
FOUR-DOOR JAGUAR WITH A SUNROOF WAS SEEN IN ALL THREE BURGLARIES (see photo below).
WHAT TO DO :
CALL 911 FOR
POSSIBLE BURGLARY ACTIVITY.
INFORM ANY ELDERLY NEIGHBORS
TO BE CAUTIOUS AND AWARE OF PROBLEM.
