The Department of Public Works will soon be performing roadway reconstruction on various roadways within Lower Ladera primarily east of La Cienega. Construction of this project is tentatively scheduled to begin next month and be completed within 6 months.
The first phase will consist of concrete work that includes sidewalk reconstruction, curb and gutter reconstruction, driveway and curb ramp upgrades, and construction of bus pads.
The second phase is tentatively scheduled to begin in December, and will consist of pavement reconstruction that should be completed by April 2021. During this phase, local streets may be closed to through traffic during construction. Access to residences and use by emergency vehicles will be provided at all times.
Streets adjacent to areas of construction will not be closed concurrently.
