It’s Election Season and that means it's time to once again begin the annual process of selecting members to serve on the LHCA Board of Directors. This year’s election will fill seven vacancies on the Board of Directors. All LHCA members who are current with their dues payment are eligible to run for a seat on the Board. The LHCA needs dedicated volunteers who are willing to devote some of their time and energy to continue our efforts in keeping Ladera a beautiful and vibrant community. Our current Board members serve on various committees. These committees helped produce our Ladera Farmers Market, Ladera Clean-Up Day, the Traffic and Parking Forum with Public Officials (pre-COVID-19), collaboration with Officials on the upcoming major redesign of the La Cienega corridor, and organizing the recent Drive-In Movie Night. These are just a few of the activities that our Board Members are involved with.
In addition to organizing these great events, the LHCA provides annual financial support to our local AYSO Soccer League, Ladera Little League Baseball, LaTijera, and Parent School PTAs, the Yvonne Burke Senior Center, the Ladera Center Sheriff’s Sub-Station, and the Ladera Pet Project.
