LA Sanitation and Environment is currently in the design phase for an upcoming project which will be located along La Cienega Boulevard between West 64th Street and Centinela Avenue. The La Cienega Blvd. Green Infrastructure Corridor Project is a multi-benefit stormwater project funded by LA County’s Safe, Clean Water Program and will improve stormwater management and quality, in addition to providing street beautification with improved medians along La Cienega Blvd. As it is important to us to partner with the community, we are reaching out to ask for your input in a few of the greening design elements of the project. We encourage you to take our brief survey to help us pick the tree species and the color of the permeable pavers for the street medians. (You will find the link to the survey below.) Please give us your feedback, and feel free to share it with other interested community members who may want to participate! This survey will be available online until 5:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2023.
After the new year, we will be reaching out again to provide details for a Community-Wide Meeting where we will share the results of the survey, make a detailed presentation of the scope of the project, and answer any questions.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to receiving your input. Sincerely, Lori Garcia -- Lori Garcia | Community Outreach Team City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works LA Sanitation & Environment | Clean Water Program Outreach Team (213) 485-3221
