Have you heard that the City of LA wants to allow developers to build unlimited height developments on the four corners of La Tijera and Centinela?! That’s right, the Ladera Center, 99 Cents Store, Amazon Fresh/ Marshall Shopping center and Pann’s/Mobile Station could become the next Howard Hughes Center or Cumulus Building!!
Did you know that the County of LA wants to allow multi-story buildings at seven (7) “Opportunity Zones” in the Ladera? How about a six-story apartment complex on the parking lot of University Christian Church (Wooster) or St. James Ethiopian Church (Shenandoah) or the rest of the church properties in Ladera? Worried about where all these people will park? The County and State isn’t worried because no parking is required. The Home Depot and Mike’s Deli properties, and more, are threaten with upzoning.
Come find out what is happening and what LHCA and others are doing about this. More importantly, find out what you can do to save your own community.
Attend LHCA Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, June 5th from 6:30PM to 7:30PM:
