Dear Ladera Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide you with an update on the recent developments regarding the redevelopment of the Ladera Shopping Center. Firstly, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who attended the meeting to discuss this critical issue. Your presence made a significant impact, and your voices were heard loud and clear.
During the meeting, it was evident that our community was united in opposing any large-scale commercial development that could potentially disrupt the essence of our neighborhood. Together, we filled the space to capacity, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to preserving the character and charm of Ladera.
Our advocacy did not go unnoticed. Both the Onevoice Westchester Council and Tracy Parks office have pledged to champion our concerns and take them forward to the LA City Zoning department. This is a significant step forward in our fight to protect our community from unwanted development.
It's important to recognize that while this battle is not yet over, our unity and determination have sent a powerful message to decision-makers. That we, as a community are standing together on this issue.
